Mathilde Cosperec is an associate in Gide's Competition and International Trade team in Brussels.

In the field of competition law, Mathilde handles cases involving cartels, abuse of dominant position and state aid, both before the French Competition Authority and the European Commission. She also assists companies in merger control proceedings on international transactions subject to multi-jurisdictional antitrust clearances, notably in Morocco.

She assists clients operating in a wide range of industries (financial services, energy, chemicals, circular economy) with French and European regulatory analysis, monitoring reforms and implementing measures in line with climate and environmental objectives. Before joining Gide in 2024, Mathilde gained experience as a trainee in international law firms in Brussels and Paris, as well as in the European Commission and the French Competition Authority.

Mathilde holds a Master's degree in Management (MiM - Grande Ecole) from HEC Paris and Paris 1 - Pantheon Sorbonne University. She has been a member of the Paris Bar since 2025.
