Admitted to the Paris Bar in 2017, Marc-Antoine de Chillaz is an associate within the Gide’s Competition & International Trade practice group in Brussels. He specialises in European and Competition law.
Marc-Antoine’s expertise covers all fields of European law, from institutional law to internal market law (free movement of persons, goods, services and capital). In competition law, Marc-Antoine has worked on several cases of cartels and abuses of dominant position both before the French competition authority and the European Commission. He is also instructed on regulatory issues in various fields, such as energy, biofuels, medicinal and plant protection products.
Marc-Antoine holds a Master’s Degree in European Law from Paris I – Panthéon-Sorbonne University (2012), a Master’s Degree in European Business Law from Paris II – Panthéon-Assas University (2013), and a Master in Laws (LL.M.) in International and European Business Law from Trinity College Dublin (2015). He speaks French and English.
