Counsel Loris Marghieri joined Gide’s Real Estate Transactions & Financing practice group in Paris in 2010, and moved to the firm’s Casablanca office in February 2015 to strengthen its local real estate activity and practice.
Loris advises on all aspects of real estate acquisitions and operations, with a particular focus on acquisitions, development and lease agreements. In particular, he advises real estate professionals on acquisitions and disposals of real estate portfolios (due diligence and sale/purchase documentation), construction operations (drafting and negotiation of architect agreements, property development agreements, general contractors, EPC, macro-plots) and lease agreements (leasehold agreements, sale and leaseback operations, financial leases, commercial leases, etc.) for tenants and owners alike. Loris regularly intervenes in hospitality/tourism projects with the preparation and negotiation of hotel management agreements. He also assists oil & gas foreign clients on their exploration activities in Africa.
Loris holds a Master’s degree in international business law from Paris Descartes University, and a Master’s degree in international business management from Audencia School of Management (France), the University of Deusto (Spain) and Bradford University School of Management (United Kingdom). He speaks French, English and Spanish.
Loris is listed as a "Next Generation Lawyer" in real estate for Morocco by Legal 500 EMEA 2017 and 2018.
