Laura Lamberti is an associate in the Banking & Finance practice of Gide's Paris office, specialising in advising credit institutions and investment firms on the legislative and regulatory framework applicable to their business.
She deals in particular with issues relating to the structure of financial institutions, the banking monopoly, investment services, payment services and the distribution of banking and financial products. She also assists institutions in the event of legal disputes before the common law courts or disciplinary proceedings before the French financial markets authority (Autorité des Marchés Financiers - AMF) and the French regulatory authority (Autorité de Contrôle Prudentiel et de Résolution - APCR).
Before joining Gide, Laura worked as an intern in the banking and financial regulation department of an international law firm in Paris, as well as in the compliance department of a major French banking group, and in the international business regulation department of the French financial markets authority.
She holds a Master's degree in banking and finance law from the University of Nice Sophia Antipolis (2015). She speaks French and English.
