Admitted to the Paris Bar in 2008, Julien Guinot-Deléry specialises in intellectual property and emerging technology law (IP/IT). He focuses more particularly on copyright, media and culture law, and communication law (press, advertising, marketing, sponsoring and patronage). Julien is highly experienced in litigation. He represents French and foreign clients in their disputes regarding copyright infringement, commercial litigation and unfair competition, particularly in the luxury, media, advertising, IT and technology sectors, as well as in disputes pertaining to architect-related law.
In contractual matters and in his advisory capacity, Julien assists clients in their communication activities as well as in the management and operation of their intangible assets. In particular, he works with a number of investors and growth companies active in the field of emerging technologies, especially in the context of venture capital operations, on questions of intellectual property, and in the processing of personal data.
Julien has in-depth knowledge of legal issues pertaining to marketing and advertising (sector-specific regulations, agency-advertiser relations, digital advertising and automation marketing, advertising targeting).
He holds a Master’s degree in Media Management from ESCP Europe, a Master’s degree in Business Law (University of Paris I) and a postgraduate degree (DEA) in Communication Law (University of Paris II).
