Julia Malaussène is an associate at Gide in the European Economic Law Departement in Paris office. She specialises in French and European competition law (cartels, abuse of dominant position and merger control).
Julia acts on behalf of national and international clients in litigation (before the French courts, the French Competition Authority, the DGCCRF and the European Commission). Julia also regularly assists companies in merger operations before the French Competition Authority and the European Commission. Julia also advises its clients on a wide range of issues relating to competition law, economic and commercial law and distribution and consumer law.
Julia is a graduate of the Catholic University of Lille (Master 2 - Business Law) and EDHEC Business School (Programme Grande Ecole) in Business Law & Management. She was admitted to the Paris Bar in 2022. After a first experience at Latham & Watkins (2022-2025), she has joined Gide in September 2025.
