Jing Li is an associate in the Corporate/M&A team at Gide's Shanghai office.

She specialises in cross-border mergers and acquisitions. She advises multinational, public and private clients on their activities in a wide range of sectors. Her practice also covers foreign direct investment, such as the creation of wholly foreign-owned companies and joint ventures, as well as intellectual property issues, such as licensing and transfers of intellectual property and technology.

In particular, Jing advised a major global dairy food manufacturer on its acquisition of a majority stake in a well-known Chinese domestic dairy food R&D and manufacturing company. It also advised a world leader on its acquisition of stakes in several Chinese companies to develop the network of hydrogen stations for electric vehicles and to provide services in other energy sectors.

Jing holds a bachelor's degree and a master's degree in intellectual property law from East China University of Political Science and Law. She has been a registered lawyer with the PRC Bar Association since 2013.
