Counsel Alexandre Bochu joined Gide’s Tax practice group in 2011. He specialises in French and international tax issues for both companies and private individuals, covering in particular M&A transactions and corporate reorganisations, funds structuring, and real estate tax.
Alexandre has significant experience regarding corporate groups and financial transactions. For instance, he was involved in the sale by Nestlé of a significant shareholding in L’Oréal, and regularly assists investment funds and portfolio management companies. He recently advised KKR on acquisition transactions, as well as Swiss Life REIM and first-tier banks on structuring investment funds and implementing managers’ incentives.
He has also been involved in significant real estate deals. For instance, he advised Foncière Atland on setting up a real estate fund jointly with AGRE, and Intermarché on reorganising the holding structure of its European real estate assets. He regularly assists listed REITs such as ICADE, COFINIMMO and SFL, in particular in acquisition or reorganisation transactions.
He is a graduate of the University of Montpellier (Magistère in corporate law and corporate law diploma (DJCE)), and also holds a certificate of specialised studies in tax law and economic law. He speaks French and English.
