Lee&Ko and Gide advised MITech on its subscription of a stake in Predisurge
Lee&Ko and Gide advised M.I.Tech Co., Ltd. (“MITech”), a Korean medical technology company listed on the KOSDAQ, in connection with its subscription of a stake in Predisurge, a French company developing digital twins for cardiovascular and endovascular procedures.
Founded in 2017 and based in Saint-Étienne, Predisurge has developed a precision medicine platform that generates patient-specific digital twins from preoperative medical imaging, allowing surgeons to simulate different surgical strategies and optimise the planning of cardiovascular and endovascular procedures.
The transaction, worth approximately €6 million, relates to MITech’s subscription of a stake in Predisurge. MITech designs and markets medical devices, in particular stents.
The Gide team was composed of partner Thomas Urlacher, senior counsel Hyun Chul Cho and associate Thibault Emé, on M&A aspects, and partner Pierre-Antoine Degrolard and associate Jonathan Navarro, on FDI aspects.
The Lee&Ko team was coordinated by Younghoon (Matt) Mok.
Predisurge was advised by McDermott Will & Emery (Fabrice Piollet, Marie Mouly and Constance Lesdos). EIC was advised by Eversheds.
