Gide advises the banks’ syndicate on Median Technologies’ €50 million equity offering
Gide advises the banks’ syndicate, including TD Cowen and Stifel, as joint global coordinators and joint placement agents, on the €50 million equity offering of Median Technologies, a pioneering company in AI-driven early cancer diagnosis.
The offering was structured as a two tranches transaction: (i) a public offering in France and a global placement to qualified investors for an aggregate amount of €40 million and (ii) an offering reserved to certain reference investors for an aggregate amount of €10 million. The €40 million capital increase was multiple times oversubscribed, demonstrating strong market support.
Median Technologies is the developer of eyonis®, a suite of artificial intelligence (AI) powered Software as a Medical Device (SaMD) for early cancer diagnosis, and a leading provider of AI-based image analyses and central imaging services for oncology clinical trials in the biopharmaceutical
industry.
Median Technologies intends to use the net proceeds from the capital increase (i) to accelerate commercialization of eyonis® LCS in the U.S. and launch in target European countries after CE marking achievement, (ii) to develop eyonis® for incremental cancer indications, and (iii) for working capital and general corporate purposes.
Gide’s team comprised partner Arnaud Duhamel, counsel Guillaume Monnier, and associates Yasmine Tanji and Akim Zellami.
The banks’ syndicate was also advised by Paul Hastings LLP on U.S. law matters.
