Olivier Gaté is an associate in the Projects practice (Finance & Infrastructure). His practice covers the structuring and negotiation of project contracts, with a focus on the defence, space, aeronautics, nuclear and port sectors.

He advises public and private stakeholders (governments, defence contractors, financial institutions and infrastructure operators) on the structuring, negotiation and implementation of complex projects. He is involved across the full range of contractual documentation (construction, maintenance, operation and financing agreements) relating to military equipment, space programmes, nuclear facilities and port infrastructure.

Prior to joining Gide in 2026, Olivier Gate practised in the finance department of Lacourte Raquin Tatar, where he was involved in structured finance and asset finance transactions. He has been a member of the Paris Bar since January 2021 and holds degrees from Université Paris Dauphine-PSL (Master's in Financial Law, 2019), Université Paris Descartes (Master's in Civil and Commercial Obligations, 2018) and the Institut d'Études Politiques de Rennes (Public Affairs, 2018).
