Tribute to Baudouin de Moucheron, Partner at Gide

Baudouin de Moucheron passed away at the age of 67 on Wednesday, 27 September 2023.

A member of the Paris Bar and former Secretary of the Conference, Baudouin de Moucheron joined Gide in 1985 and became a partner in 1992. He founded and headed Gide’s Istanbul office from 1997 to 2000 and served as a French Foreign Trade Advisor.

Remarkably forward-thinking, he led our firm with intelligence and determination as Senior Partner from 2012 to 2017.

A specialist in labour litigation and criminal law, Baudouin was a tireless advocate and an outstanding legal mind. His passion for literature and his innate gift for eloquence made him a particularly admired and respected lawyer, both in the eyes of judges, fellow lawyers, and clients.

Within the firm, we remember him as a profoundly humane and kind-hearted man
