Wojciech Czyżewski is an advocate within Gide's Warsaw office, specialising in mergers & acquisitions and corporate law.
He has worked on various privatisation processes, in particular in the railway sector. Wojciech is also experienced in creating joint venture structures, including with State Treasury companies. He has advised on setting up corporate governance principles in public and private companies, and has assisted in important transactions on the mergers & acquisitions market, acting for the benefit of funds and sector investors, both on behalf of sellers and purchasers. Wojciech has worked on a number of capital market transactions, with particular focus on strategic calls and review by the management boards of public companies. He has also assisted seed and venture capital funds with performing investments in entities at an early development stage.
Wojciech graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Warsaw and of the Center of American Law Studies of the same university, co-organised with the University of Florida Fredric G. Levin College of Law. He was a visiting student on a scholarship at the University of Florida Fredric G. Levin College of Law for six months.
Prior to joining Gide, he gained experience in international law firms, in particular Schoenherr Stangl sp. k. and Weil, Gotshal & Manges - Paweł Rymarz sp. k.
He speaks Polish, English, German and French.
