Admitted to the Paris Bar in January 2018, Timothée Dufour acts primarily in energy law within Gide's Public Law, Energy & Environment practice group in Paris.
He assists both French (producers, distributors, public people) and foreign clients on all issues related to energy law (connection to electricity and gas public distribution and transport networks, electricity provision and purchase contracts), and acts in litigation before the Dispute resolution and sanctions committee of the Energy Regulatory Commission, and commercial courts.
He has contributed to preparing the third edition of the Energy code published in September 2019, commented under the supervision of Gide partner Michel Guénaire and published by LexisNexis, a leading legal publishing house.
Timothée holds a Master's degree in public contract law from Nancy University and an LL.M. in business law from the National Law School of India University in Bangalore (NLSIU). He is also a graduate of the Institut de Droit Public des Affaires. He speaks French and English.
