Admitted to the Paris Bar in January 2018, Timothée Dufour acts primarily in energy law within Gide's Public Law, Energy & Environment practice group in Paris.
Timothée regularly advises public and private operators in sectors that are heavily regulated by the public authorities, especially in the energy sector.
He has developed a practice in economic litigation, both before sector regulatory authorities (in particular the Dispute Settlement and Sanctions Committee of the Energy Regulatory Commission) and national courts.
In addition, Timothée regularly assists clients in their institutional relations to provoke or support changes in regulations.
He contributed to preparing the third and fourth edition of the commented Code de l'Energie (Energy Code), published respectively in September 2019 and January 2021, under the supervision of Michel Guénaire and published by legal publisher of reference, LexisNexis.
Timothée holds a Master's degree in public contract law from Nancy University and an LL.M. in business law from the National Law School of India University in Bangalore (NLSIU). He is also a graduate of the Institut de Droit Public des Affaires. He speaks French and English.
