Counsel Perrine Delandre joined Gide in 2014. She specialises in projects, project financing, and banking and structured finance.
She works, mainly in Sub-Saharan Africa, in the fields of infrastructure, energy, real estate, hotels and tourism. She advises public authorities, investors, promoters and industrialists (local or foreign), whom she assists in the realization of development projects, during their structuring, their implementation (during construction and operation) and their financing.
Perrine specializes in advising governments on strategic sectoral reforms, structuring transactions and drafting and negotiating contractual documentation for the project concerned.
Perrine is also involved in setting up large-scale financing on the African continent but also on the European market for clients on the continent who wish to expand their activities in Europe.
Recently, Perrine was involved in the first private initiative green bond issue in French-speaking West and Central Africa.
In April 2020, Perrine actively contributed to the creation of Gide's African Debt taskforce, which provides African governments and African financial institutions with an integrated service offering for any public debt assignment. This taskforce established the first Think Tank (created at the initiative of Nicolas Jean, partner and member of the executive committee of the law firm Gide and of the independent advisory firm Global Sovereign Advisory (GSA)) dedicated to African public debts.
A new ROAD (A New Round-Table On African Debt), committed to the sustainability of public debt and the financing of economic recovery, which contributed to Gide being awarded "Most Innovative Law Firm in Europe (non-UK) 2021" by the Financial Times Innovative Lawyers Europe 2021.
Perrine was seconded to the Office of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire between October 2021 and June 2022.
Perrine graduated from the University of Paris II Panthéon-Assas (Master 2, Banking and Finance Law and Master 2, Business Law).
