Admitted to the Paris Bar in 2019, Nina Khalfi specializes in data protection, new technologies, and copyright law. She also practices press, audiovisual and telecommunications law.
Nina assists the Gide's clients in the context of compliance projects in the field of personal data protection law and more particularly in application of the General Data Protection Regulation.
In particular, Nina participated to two significant missions relating to data protection. She is assisting the DPO of an international bank on a day-to-day basis for a mission of nine months. The mission consists in assisting the DPO, notably by reviewing DPIAs, assisting in the negotiation of agreements with clients or suppliers and in case of data breach, performing legal and regulatory monitoring, conducting analyses on specific questions, etc. Moreover, she assisted the DPO division of a major French banking group on a "hotline" scheme, and over a period of six months, during which she processed complex issues related to the interpretation of provisions of the GDPR and the legal qualifications of the parties, and drafted information notices and contractual clauses.
Nina is also skilled in reviewing and drafting IT contracts, particularly in relation to e-commerce.
