Solicitor in England and Wales since 2021 and admitted to the Paris bar in 2023, Laure Savant-Ros is an associate in the Energy group of Gide Loyrette Nouel's London office.
Her practice is focused on cross-border mergers and acquisitions, joint-ventures, restructuring, project developments and corporate and commercial transactions for French and international clients, particularly in the energy, natural resources and infrastructure sectors.
Laure has also worked on a number of thermal, nuclear and renewable power plant projects. Her experience includes advising EDF on the development of two major nuclear power projects in the UK (Sizewell C and Hinkley Point C), Delta Offshore Energy on the development of a 3.2GW gas-to-power project in Bac Lieu, Vietnam to be supplied by an integrated LNG import project, and a France-based project developper on the hydrogen offtake agreement relating to the development of a green hydrogen electrolyser plant in France.
Laure has also completed a secondment in Sumitomo Electric's EMEA Legal Commercial & Projects team, and was also seconded in the Projects and International Arbitration teams of the Parisian office. Laure is fluent in French, English and proficient in Spanish.
