Of counsel, admitted to the Bar in 2008, Jonathan Rubinstein specialises in aviation law, insurance law and international private law, and provides both advice and litigation assistance in the fields of transport, particularly air transport, and industrial risk. He regularly advises manufacturers, airport or airline maintenance companies on disputes or aircraft accidents. He also advises insurers after claims to determine whether the security is forfeited.
Jonathan defends clients (aircraft manufacturer, ground-handling agents or airlines) in contentious matter further to aircraft accidents or incidents. Lately, he has worked on the defense of helicopter operators in the context of criminal and civil proceedings further to an accident. Prior to joining Gide, Jonathan worked for several French and international law firms:
Jonathan holds a postgraduate degree from Paris I – Panthéon-Sorbonne University in international private law, an LL.B. (Hons) from Sheffield Hallam University, and a Master’s degree in law (business law pathway) from Paris XII University. He speaks French and English.
