Francis Kessler is a lawyer, senior counsel and member of Gide's Scientific Council. He holds a Ph.D. in law and is an associate professor in charge of leading private law research at Sorbonne Law School (University of Paris I) and at the Institute of Political Studies of Paris. He is the director of the Professional Master 2 of corporate social protection law. He teaches social protection law, international and comparative employment and labour law, and labour market regulation law.
Within the Employment Law department, he assists clients with matters dealing with complementary social protection, international labour and employment law and social security law, as well as on the restructuring of special social security regimes.
Francis Kessler has been a co-author of the Lamy Protection Sociale since 2007. He has published numerous articles and has been writing an employment law column in the Economy section of the Le Monde newspaper since 1999.
