Admitted to the Paris Bar, Delphine Guillotte joined Gide in 2006 and specialises in banking and finance law. She assists banks and other financial institutions (insurance companies, debt funds) in complex operations of real estate and acquisition financing. Delphine has significant experience in real estate financing, particularly in the hotel sector. She recently worked on the acquisition financing of the Méridien Etoile, Sofitel Le Faubourg, InterContinental Paris Le Grand hotels, as well as on the sale operation by AccorHotels of a portfolio of 85 mid-range and budget hotels in France and Europe.
Delphine has also developed specific expertise in hybrid financing. She has, for instance, assisted HSBC France and BNP Paribas in the first issue of listed and non-listed mortgage bonds, and acts as regular counsel to banks on margin loans.
Delphine is a graduate of the Rennes political science institute (IEP) and holds a PhD in private law (equity swaps) and a postgraduate degree in the law of financial products and markets from Paris XI University, in partnership with ESCP-EAP business school. Delphine is a member of Gide's Scientific Council.
