Associate, admitted to the Paris Bar in 2017 and Barrister of England and Wales since 2005, Daniel Byrne is specialised in intellectual property litigation.
Daniel is an experienced litigator having spent much of his career practicing IP in London. His experience spans the full spectrum of intellectual property rights and he has benefited from his science background when it comes to the technical aspects of patent litigation.
He obtained a degree in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry from Durham University in the UK followed by a Masters in Biotechnological Law and Ethics from Sheffield University. His law studies were undertaken at City University and BPP Law School in London. He completed his training as a barrister at specialist IP chambers in London.
Daniel has worked for many multi-national clients over the years in many diverse sectors, including pharmaceuticals, mobile phones, renewable energy, cosmetics, confectionery and construction. He is a regular contributor of commentary and analysis to the legal press and is authorised to sit as a deputy judge in the Intellectual Property Enterprise Court in London.
