Tax senior counsel Christian Nouel joined Gide in November 2013 with eight of his former partners of the Paris office of Morgan, Lewis & Bockius law firm. Previously, Christian Nouel was a partner at Latham & Watkins, and Chair of the tax department of the Paris office.
Christian Nouel has extensive experience in M&A transactions and in the structuring of acquisitions for private equity funds and large companies.
He advises, on a day-to-day basis, companies on their tax affairs, and entrepreneurs as shareholders of companies. In addition, he manages tax audits with the French tax authorities.
Christian Nouel is co-founder and chair of the Fondation Croissance Responsable. He is also a member of the Tax Commission of the MEDEF, and former general-secretary of the CroissancePlus association and chair of its Tax commission. Christian is also an active member of the Gide Pro Bono Commission.
