Admitted to the Paris Bar in 2013, Alexis Bonzom specialises in banking and financial law. He advises credit institutions, investment firms and management companies on their structure and regulatory framework, and acts in finance-dominated litigation cases.
Alexis assists these entities in particular on their domestic and cross-border acquisitions and restructurings, the implementation of their internal procedures (compliance, management of conflicts of interests, anti-money laundering, international financial and economic sanctions, etc.), the structuring and setting up of their financial products, services and distribution channels, and on their post-market activities.
He takes part in consultations undertaken by French and European authorities and advises financial institutions on the implementation of various financial sector reforms (Banking Union, AIFMD, MiFID, Anti-Money Laundering Directives, Market Abuse Regulation, etc.).
Alexis also assists these same entities on their judicial disputes before French civil and commercial jurisdictions and in the context of enquiries, inspections and disciplinary proceedings initiated by French financial regulators (AMF and ACPR).
He holds a PhD from Paris I - Panthéon-Sorbonne University and is a regular guest lecturer in the Banking and Finance Master’s degree at that same University.
