Alain Coeuret joined Gide’s Employment department as Senior Counsel in November 2011. He specialises in employment law, corporate criminal law and European employment law, and is currently a professor at the University of Cergy-Pontoise and at the Law School of La Sorbonne in Paris. He is a former Special Counsellor to the Court of Cassation assigned to the employment chamber and chair of the Employment Law Master’s Degree of the University of Cergy-Pontoise. He acts as mediator in collective labour conflicts.
Alain has published several works and academic articles, including one manual on criminal law applied to labour issues (re-printed in 2012), and two works on labour law. He is currently preparing a fourth book on the universal topic of delegating powers in a company.
Alain Coeuret is a member of the Association nationale des Docteurs en Droit (National association of doctors in law), of the IDEF (International Institute for Freedom of Expression and French Inspiration) and the AFERP (French association for the study of professional relationships).
