Michel Pitron est avocat associé au sein du cabinet Gide depuis 25 ans. Après avoir exercé dans différents domaines du droit des affaires et fondé le bureau de Gide au Vietnam, Michel s'est spécialisé en stratégie de gestion de crises et traitement des contentieux civil, pénal et commercial, notamment dans les domaines du droit des contrats, droit des sociétés et droit bancaire.

Il intervient aux côtés des Etats et des grands acteurs financiers, industriels, pétroliers et audiovisuels dans des litiges à forts enjeux politiques et financiers.

Il plaide en anglais et en français devant des juridictions nationales, internationales et arbitrales (TPY, TIDM) Il représente les intérêts de la Côte d'Ivoire dans son litige frontalier maritime avec le Ghana devant le Tribunal international du droit de la mer.

Ancien membre du Conseil de l'Ordre des Avocats (2002-2004), ancien Secrétaire de la Conférence du Stage du Barreau de Paris (1984), il est l'auteur de nombreux articles et intervient régulièrement dans les conférences internationales, plus récemment sur la corruption.
