Gide Loyrette Nouel's Project Finance group, which was named "best European Project Finance Team" at the Chambers Global Awards in 2003, has developed a highly regarded expertise in mining, oil & gas law, mainly in Africa.
The Mining, Oil & Gas team provides legal advice to mining, oil & gas companies to structure, secure and implement acquisitions and disposals of and subsequently manage mining, oil & gas assets in Africa: M&A and due diligence review, E&P contracts and awards, ancillary contracts (JV, JOA, EPC, O&M, shareholders agreements, Offtake & lifting contracts), legal restructuring, securing project financing, international dispute resolution and legal assistance to government in the context of institutional and regulatory reforms.
The Mining, Oil & Gas team is structured both in our Paris and London offices. François Krotoff, based in Paris, is the partner in charge of the Mining, Oil & Gas team, which includes 8 associates. The activities of the team are managed by Leïla Hubeaut in Paris and Nicolas Bonnefoy in London.
