Gide Loyrette Nouel advises on issues of banking and financial regulations as well as insurance products. It is active in seeking licences for structures and products and is closely involved in their distribution, particularly from the view point of consumer protection regulations. The team also assists regulated establishments in their post-trade activities (compensation, settlement-delivery, custody account keeping), and in prudential regulation issues.
Our lawyers are regularly instructed on matters of the incorporation and restructuring of regulated bodies, often in several different jurisdictions. The team maintains close ties with the French administrative authorities including the Ministry of the Economy and Finance, the Prudential Supervisory Authority and the Market Regulator (Autorité des marchés financiers - AMF), the institutions of the EU (European Commission) and professional associations (FBF, AMAFI, AFTI, European Private Equity and Venture Capital Association, EVCA).
Gide Loyrette Nouel has also significant experience in the financial disciplinary or civil litigation.
