A European team, dedicated to the organisation of projects linked to EURO 2012 has been put together by Gide Loyrette Nouel. The multi national team brings together nearly thirty European lawyers.
Poland and Ukraine have been chosen to host the European football championship, EURO 2012. This event is generating a strong increase in investment in the two countries and is producing new legislation in different fields of law (notably public-private partnerships and audiovisual law). These new provisions need legal preparation in order to facilitate the success of the projects linked to EURO 2012.
Gide Loyrette Nouel is one of the few international law firms that can put together such a cross-disciplinary sports law team from its offices in Warsaw and Kiev. The experience gained by the firm's lawyers after working both on the 1998 Football World Cup in France, and 2008 Olympic Games in China, allows the team to apply their well established legal know-how.
Bruno Quentin, Paris-based partner and head of the cross-disciplinary Sports Law team, and Bertrand Oldra, a former resident partner at the Warsaw Office specialising in real estate and construction, now based in Paris, Robert Jędrzejczyk, resident partner at the Warsaw office, and Karl Hepp de Sevelinges, resident partner at the Kyiv Office, have all combined their individual expertise, offering the clients a service that perfectly suits their needs.
