The Intellectual Property, Technology & Electronic Communications Department assists clients in drafting and negotiating all forms of contracts relating to the use or supply of software (End user licenses and development, transfer, distribution, and maintenance agreements, etc.) or the operation of IT projects (system integration, outsourcing, facilities management) and the financing or maintenance of computer facilities.
It is also an internationally-recognized leader in personal data management (client data, canvassing, electronic monitoring at work, international data transfers, etc.). It assists numerous clients in this area, especially with administrative procedures before national, European and international regulatory bodies, and also advises these bodies on legislative harmonisation.
The Intellectual Property, Technology & Electronic Communications Department is involved in numerous legal disputes and investigations, or wherever information systems are breached (intrusions, file “thefts”, fraud) or for the use of encoding systems requiring local authorisations.
