Gide Loyrette Nouel is one of the largest international law firms present in China, providing clients with a full range of legal services. Opened in 2006, the Hong Kong Office is the newest addition to Gide Loyrette Nouel’s China offices.
The Hong Kong Office is headed by partner Stéphane Vernay and managed by senior associate Rebecca Silli.
The Hong Kong Office forms part of Gide Loyrette Nouel’s integrated China Team composed of more than 120 people, including 70 western and Chinese lawyers based in Beijing, Shanghai and Hong Kong. It also works in cooperation with the Firm’s specialist teams in Paris and the other international offices.
All China Team members are highly-experienced in the practice of Chinese and international business law, and are ably assisted by a team of more than 10 legal translators. The working languages are English, Chinese and French.
The Hong Kong Office acts as a unique platform to serve client needs in South China and more generally in the Asia Pacific region, where necessary in cooperation with other leading law firms. The Office’s practice focuses on corporate and M&A, project finance, taxation, intellectual property and foreign direct investment.
