14 December 2004 - Gide Loyrette Nouel is pleased to announce that on 1 January 2005, it is appointing 2 new partners:

David Desforges, 37 years old, graduated from the Institut d'Etudes Politiques de Paris (Public Service Section) in 1991. He obtained an LL.M. degree from Northwestern University in Chicago and a graduate certificate degree from the School of Public Services of DePaul University in 1994. He further obtained a postgraduate degree in law and economics from the Université Paris II Panthéon-Sorbonne in 1997. David joined Gide Loyrette Nouel in 1995 and is a member of the Paris Bar. His practice focuses essentially on environmental law issues.

Yann Utzschneider, 35 years old, earned a specialised postgraduate degree in law and international business management from the Paris Business School (ESCP) and a postgraduate degree (DEA) in international law. He joined the European and Economic Law Department of Gide Loyrette Nouel in 1995 and was admitted to the Paris Bar in 1997. Yann specialises in competition, distribution and consumer law.
