22 March 2004 - Gide Loyrette Nouel advised on the first Iranian private GSM licence:
Gide Loyrette Nouel advised the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology of the Islamic Republic of Iran, together with BNP Paribas, on the award of the first (private) GSM License (Euros 300 million plus revenue sharing exceeding Euros 2 billion in net present value) to a private sector telecommunications operator, including drafting of tender documentation.
The License was successfully awarded in March 2004.
