27 october 2004 - Djamila Annad joins Gide Loyrette Nouel’s Energy Practice in the Algiers Office.

Gide Loyrette Nouel, Algeria, announces the appointment of Djamila Annad to its energy practice.  Djamila joins the firm with first class credentials in the oil and gas industry. 

For the last fifteen years, she has worked as advisor to the General Manager of Sonatrach, Algeria’s national oil company, where she was responsible for negotiating the majority of  production-sharing agreements.  In addition, Djamila was a member of the government committee in charge of  proposing a draft law reforming entirely the hydrocarbons sector. 

The Algiers office of Gide Loyrette Nouel has extensive expertise in the hydrocarbons and electricity sectors. It is currently advising and assisting a major oil company in its bid to Sonatrach's invitation to tender for rights to a large-scale integrated gas project. Algiers office is also advising an international bank called to fund a major oil company operating in Algeria as a Sonatrach foreign partner.
