20 May 2009 - First ever sale of a state-owned company by auction in Poland: Gide Loyrette Nouel Warsaw, legal counsel to Vossloh Cogifer on the acquisition of KolTram:
Gide Loyrette Nouel advised Vossloh Cogifer, a subsidiary of railway equipment maker Vossloh Group, on its successful acquisition of the Polish state-owned company KolTram on 23 April 2009. The transaction was for 100% of KolTram, which was valued in the auction at EUR 21.7 million. This is the first time the Polish Treasury has sought to divest assets via an auction process. Based on the successful outcome, the Treasury is now planning further open-bid auctions, but on a smaller scale.
Gide Loyrette Nouel Warsaw advised Vossloh Cogifer on the auction. Partner Robert Jędrzejczyk, specialised in energy and infrastructure law, was responsible for conducting the transaction. | />
