6 December 2010 - Gide Loyrette Nouel strengthens its China practice with a key appointment in Shanghai:
Gide Loyrette Nouel (GLN) has officially welcomed partner Antoine de la Gatinais as a new member of its China team, at a cocktail reception held at the Waldorf Astoria (formerly The Shanghai Club) on Thursday 2 December.
Antoine has over a decade of legal experience in cross-border mergers and acquisitions and in private equity. He is also specialised in the corporate aspects of the development of investment funds. Antoine started his career as an associate in the Firm’s New York office in 1998 before moving to GLN’s Paris office in 2000 where he became partner in the mergers and acquisitions department.
Pierre Raoul-Duval, senior partner of the Firm, who attended the reception in Shanghai commented, “Antoine brings significant international expertise to the Shanghai office and his appointment is a sign of our continuing commitment to provide our clients with top class legal services in the region. We’re confident that his relocation will be of great benefit as the Shanghai office continues to develop as an important centre for business activity.”
Antoine, member of the Paris Bar, is a graduate of ESSEC business school (class of 1996) and obtained his degree (DESS) in business law from the University of Montpellier.
