8 January 2009 - Gide Loyrette Nouel Paris acted for the sponsors of the new Courbevoie college PPP project:

On 7 November 2008, the Hauts-de-Seine District Council and the SAS company Château du Loir Exploitation entered into a Public-Private Partnership to build a new middle school for the town of Courbevoie, Greater Paris. Arrangements for the financing of the project were settled at the end of November. 

The PPP was concluded through a Contrat de partenariat (partnership agreement) under the June 2004 French PPP Ordinance. Its purpose is the design, building, financing, operation and maintenance of a 700 pupil middle school in Courbevoie. The Contrat de partenariat entered into force on 7 November 2008, for a term equal to the design & construction period (the school is due to be completed for the academic year commencing in September 2010) plus 15 years from the start of operations.  

Company Château du Loir Exploitation is a special purpose company incorporated by Fayolle & Fils, Elyo - GDF Suez Energy Services and Crédit Industriel et Commercial.  

The project is financed by means of a circa €27m bank loan and an equity contribution from shareholders. The bank loan was arranged by Crédit Industriel et Commercial.
