Gide Loyrette Nouel has assisted Orco Property Group, an investor, promoter and leading asset manager in the real estate markets of Central Europe, in the opening of its safeguard procedure in Paris, and in negotiations with its creditors, including bondholder and bank creditors. Under the supervision of Maître Le Guernevé, judicial administrator, the Firm also advised on the drafting of the safeguard plan adopted by the Paris Commercial Court on 19 May 2010.

As legal counsel, Gide Loyrette Nouel set up a cross-functional team led by Olivier Puech, partner in charge of the restructuring and insolvency practice, assisted by other lawyers who specialise in bond issues and stock exchange and securities law. The team comprised Olivier Puech, Didier G. Martin, Marc-Etienne Sébire and Sylvain Paillotin.
