16 September 2009 - Gide Loyrette Nouel Paris advises on the largest real estate transaction of 2009:

MACSF (Mutuelle d'Assurances du Corps de Santé Français), France's largest mutual insurance company for healthcare professionals, has acquired the firms which own the "Triangle de l'Arche" office property located at Paris la Défense.

This 37,500 sq. m. office building was previously owned by US pension fund TIAA (Teachers Insurance and Annuity Association). The value of the property sold makes this the largest real estate acquisition so far in 2009.

MACSF was advised in this transaction by the international department of law firm Fidal (Philippe Chevrier, Laurent Leclercq and Raphaël Teyssot) and by Gide Loyrette Nouel (Renaud Baguenault de Puchesse and Hugues Moreau).
