20 September 2011 - Gide Loyrette Nouel advises Ipsos on its rights issue of approximately EUR 200 million:
Ipsos, one of the world's leading global market research companies, has launched a capital increase with preferential subscription rights in an amount of approximately EUR 200 million, in order to fund part of the price of the acquisition from Aegis Group plc of Synovate’s business as announced in July.
This capital increase is made by way of a public offering in France and a private placement to certain institutional investors outside France, including the United States.
Gide Loyrette Nouel is advising Ipsos with a team including partner Arnaud Duhamel, associates Stéphane Jaffré and Laetitia Jouglain for French law issues, and partner Christopher Mead and associates Melinda Stege Arsouze and Scott Logan for U.S. law matters.
