28 May 2009 - Gide Loyrette Nouel advises on Faurecia's rights issue:
Faurecia, one of the world's leading automotive equipment suppliers, has announced the successful completion of its rights issue, launched on 30 April 2009, for a total amount of approximately EUR 456 million. The purpose of this rights issue was to strengthen the group's equity and improve its liquidity.
The transaction was oversubscribed and Peugeot S.A., the majority shareholder, has limited its participation to the issue to its current percentage of share ownership in Faurecia.
The transaction was led by Société Générale, acting as global coordinator, joint lead manager and joint bookrunner, with BNP Paribas, Calyon and Lazard-Natixis acting as joint lead managers and joint bookrunners.
Gide Loyrette Nouel assisted the banks on this transaction with a team comprising partner Arnaud Duhamel, Stéphane Jaffré and Valérie Charreton (associates) for French law issues, partner Christopher B. Mead and Sylvain Dhennin (associate) for U.S. law matters. | />
