4 September 2008 - Gide Loyrette Nouel acted as legal counsel to Eurogate Tanger in €100 million Moroccan container terminal financing:

Gide Loyrette Nouel advised Eurogate Tanger, the Moroccan container terminal which is co-owned by Eurogate*, Contship Italia*, CMA CGM*, Comanav* and Marport Corporation*, on the financing deal for the construction of the second container terminal at the Port of Tanger-Méditerranée (Morocco). The loan of EUR 100 million was granted by Banque Marocaine du Commerce Exterieur (BMCE), Banque Marocaine du Commerce et de l’Industrie (BMCI), Attijari International Bank and the European Investment Bank (EIB), with a cross-guarantee from Dexia. 

Gide Loyrette Nouel previously advised two consortia that had been respectively awarded the concessions for the first and second container terminals at the new port of Tanger-Méditerranée, in 2004 and 2005.
