1 October 2007 - Gide Loyrette Nouel (Casablanca & Paris) advises EDF on the sale of a Morocco-based wind farm to Théolia :
Gide Loyrette Nouel has advised EDF on the sale of its 84.5% stake in the Compagnie Eolienne du Détroit (CED), the Moroccan wind farm operator, to Théolia (European leader in the production of wind-generated electricity). Created in 1998 (under a concession contract with the Office National de l'Electricité (ONE) /National Electricity Office of Morocco), Compagnie Eolienne du Détroit CED, finances, builds and operates a wind farm composed of 84 wind turbines of 50MW total capacity, and located in Abdelkhalek Torrès, in the Tetouan province in the north of the country, put into service in August 2000.
