4 November 2008 - Gide Loyrette Nouel advises EADS on the sale to the Daher group of a majority shareholding in its subsidiary EADS Socata :

Gide Loyrette Nouel has advised the European Aerospace Defence and Space group (EADS) on the agreement to sell to the Daher group (a European equipment manufacturing group specialised in the aeronautical industry and the nuclear, defence and automobile industries) a 70% majority shareholding in EADS Socata (one of the world’s leading general aviation manufacturers). This collaboration aims at creating a major European industrial player in the fields of aerostructures and general aviation.

This deal will be completed once the approvals by the French and German competition authorities are obtained.
