10 December 2007 - Gide Loyrette Nouel A.A.R.P.I., legal counsel to Doosan on the acquisition of three of business divisions of BobCat:
Gide Loyrette Nouel advised Doosan Infracore, the construction equipment division of the Korean company, Doosan, on the acquisition of three of the business divisions of BobCat (Compact Equipment Business, Utility Equipment Business and Attachements Business) owned by Ingersoll-Rand. BobCat is the world and European leader in the manufacture of compact excavators, forklifts, rock crushers, compressors and electricity generators. Ingersoll-Rand is selling eleven manufacturing plants to Doosan, including, in France, the Pontchateau plant manufacturing forklifts and the Saint-Priest plant, manufacturing the rock crushers. The value of the transaction is US$ 4.9 billion.
Gide Loyrette Nouel advised Doosan on employment law and on the regulatory issues concerning “classified installations” (Frédéric Wapler, Aurélien Boulanger, Philippe Desprès et David Desforges).
