Gide Loyrette Nouel advised Compagnie Fruitière (the leading fruit producer in the ACP countries) on its acquisition from Dole Food (the world’s largest producer and distributor of fresh fruits and vegetables) of Dole France and JP Fresh (a UK subsidiary of the Dole group whose business is in fruit ripening and distribution). The Dole group owns a 40% interest in the capital of Compagnie Fruitière, with the Fabre family owning a 60% majority stake.
