13 June 2008 - Gide Loyrette Nouel Paris advises the French State on its entry into the capital of the Chantiers de l'Atlantique:
Gide Loyrette Nouel advised the State within the framework of their signing a partnership agreement with the Korean STX group, bringing long term perspectives to the Chantiers de l'Atlantique. 75% owned by the Norwegian company Aker yards (in which STX has a minority stake of 39.2%) and 25% owned by Alstom since March 2006, the Chantiers de l'Atlantique employ 3000 people in France and has one of the most important construction capacities in the world. Provided that the operation is approved by the administrative council of Aker yards, STX and the government are agreed on both the entry of the state into the capital of Aker France (Chantiers de l'Atlantique) and on a long term partnership.
Legal counsel to the French State : Gide Loyrette Nouel A.A.R.P.I. (Jean-Emmanuel Skovron and Mark Wong).
