27 February 2009 - Gide Loyrette Nouel Paris, legal counsel of Caisse Nationale des Caisses d’Epargne (CNCE) on its merger with Banque Fédérale des Banques Populaires (BFBP):

The board of directors of Banque Fédérale des Banques Populaires (BFBP) and the supervisory board of Caisse Nationale des Caisses d’Epargne et de Prévoyance (CNCE), met on 24 and 26 February 2009 to agree the principles of the merger of both central bodies. This transaction will create France's second-largest banking group.

Gide Loyrette Nouel advised CNCE on its merger with BFBP.
