Gide Loyrette Nouel A.A.R.P.I. advised La Banque Postale with regard to its partnership with Oddo & Cie. This partnership will enable La Banque Postale to provide a better service to its private clients and to offer them a wider range of products and services tailored to their specific needs.

Oddo & Cie, which specialises in asset management, brokerage services and account management, will acquire a 49% equity stake in Efiposte Gestion (currently wholly-owned by La Banque Postale) which will adopt the name "La Banque Postale Gestion Privée" with effect from 1 January 2008.

Jean-Emmanuel Skovron and Christine Miles advised La Banque Postale for the corporate and contractual aspects of the deal. Yann Utzschneider advised La Banque Postale and Oddo & Cie on competition law.
