Gide Loyrette Nouel advised the Qatari bank, Al Khaliji Commercial Bank, on its acquisition of the entire share capital of BLC Bank (France) SA representing the bank’s business in Paris and the four branches of BLC Bank (France) SA located in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Ras Al Khaima and Sharjah. 
 
The transaction, worth some US$ 250 million, closed in Doha on 3 November 2008 after receiving all the relevant regulatory approvals
