16 July 2009 - Gide Loyrette Nouel Riyadh and Paris, legal counsel to Air Liquide on the acquisition of a majority stake in Al Khafrah Industrial Gases:

Gide Loyrette Nouel has advised Air Liquide, the world leader in gases for industry, health and the environment, on the acquisition of 75% of the capital of Al Khafrah Industrial Gases, a company based in Riyadh with operations in both Riyadh and Dammam (east coast of Saudi Arabia). With sales of over USD 20 million in 2008 and around 100 employees, the company’s main activities include the manufacturing and sale of packaged gases (oxygen, nitrogen, argon, acetylene, etc.) and bulk air gases. The newly incorporated company will be named Air Liquide Al Khafrah Industrial Gases.
